Come together Northern NSW

The Get Ready Emergency Preparedness team is going on tour of northern NSW. Genevieve and Deaf Liaison Officers will visit Deaf Communities in Coffs Harbour, Tweed Heads and Lismore.

Come along to FREE community workshops hosted by the Deaf Society and NSW State Emergency Service (SES). Following the recent floods and storms, this is an opportunity for northern NSW Deaf Communities to come together, share stories and learn. You will learn the easy steps to prepare for emergencies. Everyone is welcome: deaf, hard of hearing, hearing family and friends, and interpreters. The workshops are delivered in Auslan and English.
